Miss Morgans passion for teaching was inspired by her experience as a "big buddy" at the Lakeland Little Tykes Preschool Program. Since then, she "couldn't imagine doing anything else."


Miss Morgan began her career at Edison in October of 2017. she says, "Edison puts their student first. The relationships I've developed with the staff and parents makes this center feel like home!"


Inspired by her teachers at Lakeland, Miss Morgan plans to graduate from Penn State and continue the job shes loves. she explains, "The hands on experience I have gained here has benefited my education tremendously. Working with these students has been wonderful; I cant't wait to be a teacher!"





Miss Madison

​During high school, Miss Madison worked with children at Happy Trails Horse Stables as a tour guide. She has also spent numerous years providing in-home care for children ages 6mos. to late teens, including those with disabilities. 

Miss Madison was introduced to Edison, was placed into the Early Preschool classroom, and instantly fell in love with the students. "The moment I met these children, I knew this was where I wanted to stay."

Ms. Melissa
Classroom: Junior Kindergarten (4's & 5's)

Ms. Melissa entered the education field because of her love for children. “Watching them learn and grow individually is so rewarding,” she says.

Along with teaching, Ms. Melissa and her husband own their own business. They have a family dairy farm where you can find and participate in a corn maze and pumpkin patch!

“Edison is such a great private school that focuses on educating children at such a young age. The atmosphere is professional and the learning environment is caring, fun, and safe for all children,” Ms. Melissa explains about why she chose Edison.

Miss. Sam

Miss Sam has been involved with young children since 2008. Along with working at Edison, she has also taught a dance class for the past ten years with children ages 3 to 16. Additionally, she has been teaching an art class with children ages 5 to 15 for the past 4 years. She says, “My goal is to simply keep getting better; to be a teacher my students will remember, as I remember so many of my wonderful teachers.”

Miss. Sam sees Edison as a “facility that truly cares about the well-being of its students.” She says, “The atmosphere is positive, the building is beautiful, and the staff is a team with endless support.” Working with children has been and interest of Miss. Sam’s since she was a child herself. “I love seeing them grow and knowing I have played a part in that development.”

Since becoming a teacher Miss. Sam says, “I knew it was the perfect choice; I can’t imagine being this happy doing anything else!”

Miss Skylan entered the education field because, “you get to work with young children, and to me, nothing is better than that.”

She was thrilled to work at Edison because she had the chance to do what she loved, work with children. She says, “It is such a great environment.”

Miss Skylan is very grateful for her position here at Edison as well, “I love that I get to teach such young children and watch them grow; I am happy to be learning so many things at such a young age as well.”

Ms. Brook
Classroom: Early Preschool (2's)

Ms. Brooks’ passion for childcare derived from her experiences volunteering at her hometown daycare facility. She says, “Although I did not go to school for education, I always knew I wanted to work in a classroom setting.”

“When I first came to Edison, it reminded me of the daycare I both attended as a child and volunteered at as a college student; that is how I knew this was going to be a great place to work,” Ms. Brook explains.

Ms. Brooks’ passion for writing is what drives her to push her students to enhance their fine motor skills. She says, “It is so fulfilling to watch a child exemplify a lesson I have taught them, especially when they will carry that lesson with them forever.”


Ms. Allie
Classroom: Early Preschool (older 2's)

Aside from being a mother herself, Ms. Allie has always been involved with children. Whether it was simply babysitting or coaching multiple cheerleading squads, she has been passionate about helping children develop and move forward with their fine and gross motor skills.

Edison has become the perfect place for Ms. Allie to exemplify her passion. As an adventurous person outside of the classroom, she loves to get her students moving!  She says, “I take pride in watching my students fine and gross motor skills develop because of their experiences in my classroom.”

"My Goals as an educator are to create a learning environment that ensures student success, be flexible in my teaching practices, and develop learning activities that spark the interests of my students." Ms. Morgan strives to create the most positive learning environment so her students can reach their full potential. 


Ms. Morgan believes individual growth is encouraged by allowing mistakes, reflecting on and correcting mistakes, and a positive attitude. "It is my priority to help students maintain a positive attitude and develop a love for learnig through success."


Ms. Melissa

Since becoming a mother herself, Ms. Melissa knew she wanted to teach young children. She says, “I loved everything about watching him grow and wanted to continue to help others do the same.”

After being at Edison for a short time, Ms. Melissa is enjoying her time very much; “I love the classrooms, curriculum, co-workers, and families. It’s a community that is supportive and kind, which is hard to find elsewhere.”

Aside from cooking, reading, and being outside with family, Ms. Melissa is looking forward to continuing her education so she can continue teaching and furthering her career!

Ms. Pam
Classroom: Infant

Bachelor’s Degree in Professional Studies; Associates Degree in Human Resources; Both received from Misericordia University; Certificate of Geriatric Management
Child Care Experience: 20 Years

Ms. Pam has been involved with young children for many years. Coincidentally, she was a TSS worker and frequently visited her client at Edison. She says, “When I first visited Edison, I fell in love with the center and knew I wanted to become a team member.”

Ms. Pam began her career with little ones and has always been interested in the studies of a child's life span. After 20 years of other positions, she is happy to say, “After 20 years, I am happy to have ended up with what I love the most, teaching these little ones.”

Besides traveling, Ms. Pam enjoys spending time with her three grandchildren, which has only grown her passion for working with young ones. “I am so grateful to be a team member here at Edison and honored to be a stepping stone in each child’s growth and development.”
