Our certified teachers let their passion for science show!
It’s contagious!  While engaging your child in a variety of inquiry based science activities, our staff will cover topics in Physical Science, Life Science, Earth and Space Science, Science and Technology, Science in Personal and Social Perspectives, and History and Nature of Science. Our third and fourth grade camp focuses on STEM (science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) careers and activities.

All science camps are directed by Dawn Toolan, owner of The Edison E.L.C., who holds teaching certificates in earth & general science with a B.A. education degree in Integrated Science.

New This Summer:

Passport Adventures-Fridays all summer long!

Have your passport stamped, as you travel around the world learning about far away places! Each week offers a new country to explore through readings, projects, and activities. We will open up your child's mind while exploring the geography, history, language, food, and culture of 10 amazing countries. We may even pick up a few souvenirs along way! The following countries will be covered: Italy, Mexico, Japan, Australia, England, Costa Rica, Madagascar, Ireland, Egypt, & Antarctica. 

Camp Info.

     Our annual summer school-aged science camps are amazing experiences which are open to children entering first through fourth grade in the fall of 2017. Please call for availability in our three and four year old summer programs. See registration form links below for specific programs offered at each center. 

Science camp runs for ten weeks, our tentative dates are

June 12, 2017 thru August 18, 2017.


     The science program hours are 9:00 am to 3:00 pm with before and after care available. Children will be busy all day, therefore we only encourage parents to register their child if they truly have a love for science and like to create, think, and perform hands-on activities. Please understand this camp is not appropriate for all children! Please discuss it with your child before enrolling. 

​     Field Trips will be announced closer to the start of camp. Past trips have been to; Lackawanna Coal Mine Tour & McDade Park, Penn's Caves, The Da Vinci Science Center, New York Museum of Natural History, and Claws 'N Paws.

   Did I mention our famous "wet 'n wacky" days?? Our classes get extra crazy on Wednesdays & Thursday during our outdoor water recess events!

Children will need to bring:

  • Lunch, Snack & Water Bottle
  • Sunblock
  • Bathing Suit & Towel (not mandatory)
  • Extra outfit, just in case (we get messy sometimes:)
