Step 1 CDA: $22,000
Step 2 Associates Degree or 60 college credits: $24,000

Bachelor's Degree in Education is required for head Pre-Kindergarten teachers.

Staff responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Providing a warm and nurturing environment for young children
Planning and implementing age-appropriate developmental activities in all areas of development including; gross-motor, fine-motor, cognitive, social-emotional, and communication.
Strong skill set and knowledge of appropriate techniques for interacting with young children
Assessing children and keeping good records
The following company, state, and local policies and procedures when dealing with children in a childcare setting
Must maintain a neat, clean, and orderly classroom environment
Must fulfill daily and weekly classroom cleaning duties
Effectively communicate with children, parents, and co-workers
Must possess the following qualities; reliable, accountable, trustworthy, compassionate, hard-working, organized, and fun!
Must love working with young children and must be patient, caring, and flexible
All staff must attend monthly staff meetings, parent events, professional development, and other required events as requested by the center’s director
Prior knowledge of the Department of Human Services is not required but appreciated
The candidate must hold a minimum of a high school diploma with at least two years of experience documented experience working with children in childcare or another closely related setting.
An associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, Family Studies, or other closely related field is preferred.
The candidate must submit the following documents, prior to an interview, in order to be considered for a position: health assessment & TB (less than one-year-old), FBI fingerprinting, ACT 31, ACT 151 (all clearances must indicate NO RECORD), and the National Sex Offender Registry clearance (NSOR).
